Lisa Long is a board-certified Physician Assistant and a Diplomat Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is also a part-time faculty member at the University of New Mexico Physician Assistant Program and coordinates and instructs the Dermatology curriculum.
Lisa graduated from Metropolitan University, in Denver, CO with her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. She then completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of New Mexico. She immediately began working in Dermatology and knew that she had a true passion for this medical specialty. Lisa specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of many dermatological conditions and is particularly enthusiastic about using dermoscopy to evaluate skin lesions.
Outside of work, Lisa loves to cook, practice yoga, and spend time with her husband and three children.
